MrBeast and Mark Rober have launched Team Seas and other YouTubers have teamed up with them to reduce the amount of plastic in the oceans. For every dollar that is donated, a pound is taken out of the ocean. They have a goal of raising 30 million dollars by the end of the year that will contribute to picking up trash on the beaches, fishing out trash from the sea, and building trash eating robots.
I'm so happy that influencers are jumping onto this major problem. They have a big impact on others, especially the younger generation. I hope they will make a big difference for our future
